KUCHING - Innovativeness and adaptability, driven by a commitment to quality, have put DML Products (Borneo) Sdn Bhd on a steady path of growth in the local construction industry.
DML will be making a strong presence at the Building Trade Show 2017 (BTS2017) in March next year as a key sponsor and major exhibitor and it will be its fourth participation in a row.
The company, which started operation in Sarawak 10 years ago, is optimistic that the biennial exhibition will continue to serve as a useful avenue for the company to display its latest products and also reach out to industry players and consumers.
According to Paddy Wong, operation manager of DML (Borneo) Sdn Bhd,
“ awareness of our specialised products among the industry players and public has increased over the years and we owe a lot to the previous year’s Building Trade Shows which gave us the opportunity to promote our products and expand our links”.
DML would be displaying some new products, for which aesthetics and functionality are the core features, at BTS2017 next year, said Wong, who was hopeful that members of the public and industry would view the products at the exhibition and be acquainted with the company’s latest innovations.
DML manufactures and markets two principal product lines, namely, Sun Louvers and Strip Facades and architectural products such as Strip, Tile, Screen and Cell Ceiling and uses an advanced technology for their unique designs and to ensure quality and durability.
“The company is mindful of maintaining its reputation and is therefore committed to ensuring that the products remain true to the claim that they are tough and extremely durable, protected from discolouration, energy saving and environment friendly, “said Wong, who has been with Sarawak operation for nearly 10 years.
The products are widely used for residential houses, commercial complexes, high rise condominiums, airport terminals, bus terminals, offices, showrooms and hotels. They are available in aluminium and galvanized steel finishes and can be custom-made with colour chosen to suit the customer’s taste.
The head office of DML is in Kuala Lumpur and has factory outlets in Sarawak, Johor, Penang, Sabah, Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines and a growing marketing network across the Asean region.
Among the highlights of BTS 2017 are PAMSC Gala Dinner which will be held for the first time at Borneo Convention Centre and a Design Forum which is expected to attract 250 participants
